And as you look forward you consider all of those roadblocks you’ve just been through, the times where people said, “This is impossible, what are you doing?” and now we’re doing it or it’s done… those are the inspirational revelations that showcase that equipped with persistence and consistently showing up to the table, you can achieve your goals / dreams. Collectively as you look back you can see that the fruit of your labor has paid off. There are some really tough days where progress seems limited, then there are breakthrough days where after being stuck on something for a while - it just comes together in rapid succession. I find that every day I wake up, I choose to have an impact, to make a difference and to hold the memory of feeling like I couldn’t do anything close so I can then use that as motivation (fuel) to press the ball forward. Every game has their ideas of what the game should and could be, and over that period of time as a player you feel helpless at times to be able to make a positive impact. Originally I joined the game as a 14 year old player back in 2002. What do you enjoy or find most rewarding with your day to day work? I am spending a lot more time these days supporting our team leadership and personnel, empowering them to be more successful at what it is that they do. Most of my time now is being spent to help direct the flow of our mission and personnel to achieving our global objectives, and nurture that vision to success.
It makes each day unique - which I prefer. What does an average day at CRS look like for you?Įvery day presents its different set of goals and responsibilities, with over 40 people actively working on the project and thousands of fans looking for their interests to be tended to. And our team and community really supports and embraces that sort of thing.

Many of us know each other on a first name basis, we’ve met in person, we’ve worked together in times of crisis to support folks through GoFundMe type initiatives. It’s also about the relationships you develop, not just with the team but with the players. We are like one big family who all aim high and hold tightly our optimism for what we can achieve. The genuine love and care for the product shared between our community and development team.
I love to see game’s continue their development and provide content to their fanbase, I think it’s something we should all work towards as game developers. They have a wonderful team of folks who, like us, for many years have continued pouring their love and passion into their product(s). Once again I’d probably say the “World’s Edge” over at Microsoft (now Xbox) game studios. I was that kid who would wake up before school to watch the history channel, so this game helped bring those interests to life teaching both the economic and military components of those interests.ĭo you aspire to any other game studios (Who do you find inspirational and why)?
